Good company in a journey makes the way seem shorter
Izaak Walton
Welcome! And thanks for joining me in this endeavor through learning how to code. There are several reasons why coding piques my interest:
- I’ve always been fascinated by the power of being able to tell a machine what to do, create something from scratch, spark some logic into it, and let it do something.
- I’d love to not be tied to work in a fixed place, but to be remote and be able to choose and move around, and coding is a very valid way to accomplish this.
- There are infinite possibilities, either being employed or freelance, coding is everywhere.
I’ve tried to learn to program half a dozen times, but I’ve always failed to learn more than the basics of any language. This year I’ve finally decided to take the leap and invest in it, and start learning how to program properly.
I’m sticking with a language (C#), and a Game Engine (Unity) so I have some fun along the way while I attempt to work through and launch a real project. Starting from the basics and working my way up, I will be documenting my progress, struggles, and successes along the way.
The main idea behind this blog is to act as a consistency tracker where I can write down what I learn along the way.
If You’re Not Embarrassed By The First Version Of Your Product, You’ve Launched Too Late.

Why TILcode.blog ?
TIL is a slang acronym that stands for Today I Learned. I’ll write about things I’m learning and what I’ve learned through this journey.
